Fashionable rain boots that keep you dry while looking cool

With all this talk about hurricane's and storms hitting the northeast, all I can think about is what I would wear if I had to step out. Let's face it, New York got off quite easy with Hurricane Irene but there will be puddles to be had for days!

So instead of feeling blue while stuck indoors, hit the internet and find a cute pair of rain boots that'll help keep your socks dry and you looking fabulous all day long. There isn't anything I hate more than
having my foot land in a puddle and having to slosh around all day uncomfortable.

Sadly those of us in Florida don't get much mileage out of rain boots but there is a cute pair of flats made by the folks at that you could slip on when necessary. Since we do get quite a bit of rain during hurricane season these would be absolutely perfect! (they also come in a fun houndstooth black/white pattern)

Since they will only set you back $29.99, you can afford to grab both!

In my selections below, I included the Missoni for Target Rain Boots that aren't in stores yet but will be by September 13th. I don't know what they will cost but whatever it is, will be worth it!

Comparable Missoni boots cost well over $250.00.

My FAVORITE pair below though is top center and they are from BCBG Max Azria and feature some really stylish black studs. They come in both Royal Navy and Moss Green, great neutrals to match with most everything in your closet.

For those of you in cities where snow will come this winter, you can continue to wear these well into the new year. When the snow melts, the puddles will be back!

For those of you who are comfiest in sneakers, there is a cute boot below that imitates their look. You can easily have your flare jeans fall over it and no one will even know your wearing waterproofing!

Which is your favorite option from these?

  1. The Max Azria boots are fierce but I wouldn't spend that kind of money on a rain boot. I really like the sneaker bottoms of the Tretorn not to mention they're the cheapest boot on the list. :)
