OPI ready to release nail polish collection inspired by The Muppets

With this being the third post in a matter of weeks pertaining to nail polish, it's no wonder nail care sales have increased by 57% over the last year. I don't want to get into a conversation about the economy, but picking out pretty colors to decorate your nails is a lot more affordable than buying a new outfit, shoes, or accessories if you are on a limited budget.

So for those of you going 'naners over all the fabulous new collections available from all of
your favorite brands like Essie, China Glaze, and of course Chanel, I have some fun news to share for the fall.

Nail giant OPI is announcing a special collection of twelve limited edition colors set to hit stores in November. But this is no ordinary line of colors.

Tying in with the release of the highly anticipated film, The Muppets, the colors will have fun names like "Fresh Frog of Bel Air:
A glitter that prefers the greener things in life," "Gettin’ Miss Piggy With It!
Red glittery fun for everyone!," and "Gone Gonzo!
The aqua-blue glitter is taking over the world!"

"OPI is so excited to work with Disney to celebrate this long-awaited movie release," said OPI's Executive VP and Artistic Director Suzi Weiss-Fischmann in a statement. "Not only do The Muppets characters inspire fun, bright, and joyful colors, the fashionable Miss Piggy lends her name to three high-shine pink-based hues, ranging from bold red-flecked with silver to a multi-dimensional strawberry shade."

With six glittery bottles, two metallic's, and four varied shades of red to choose from, everyone will be able to find their inner Muppet.

You can grab these lacquers when they start to trickle into salons and specialty stores mid-November, just in time to wear your favorites to the movie premiere on the 23rd. The best part? They will only set you back $8.50 a pop!
