Ginger Straps makes Miami debut!

Happy New Year Fab Girls! December was such a busy month of parties and celebrations with friends and family that I'm finally catching up with all my stories. One of my favorite events was the Ginger Straps Blogger Mixer held at Blo Midtown on December 17th, 2012.  I got to hang out with some of my favorite Miami bloggers while checking out the hottest new trend for 2013, Ginger Straps!

If you love shoes (and honestly who doesn't?!), you will love this!  You can breathe new life into a pair of shoes you already own or add some spice to a plain pair you are looking to purchase with Colombian leather inserts that add straps that tie around your ankle.

This photo on the left shoes a plain, black platform shoe with the added "Spikes & Chains" Ginger Strap ($29.00).  You can safely remove the insert after one use and you can continue using it with other shoes or the very same shoe by using double sided tape.

For a more dainty look, you can also purchase the Teal Flower version ($29.00) or Red Flower with a nude strap color ($29.00).  To unleash your wild side, there is also a Leopard Print Flower available for purchase ($29.00).

If you own a pair of heels that you think might benefit from a simple strap or maybe you want to get all DIY and add something yourselves, you can also grab their Simple Black or Red Strap for $14.00 each.

As part of the event, Blo had hairstylists on-hand to add fun braids and curls into our hair while Nail Bar provided girls with mini manicures with some of the hottest colors from Zoya. And what party is complete without cocktails and nibbles? The Sugar Fairies hooked us up with red velvet and chocolate cupcakes with adorable high heels decorating the tops.  The red velvet was my favorite because they melted chocolate chips in the center, just like I love them!

Vintage Liqueurs provided yummy cocktails including an oldie-but-a-goodie-- the Cosmo!

For details on how to purchase your very own Ginger Straps, check out their fab Etsy site here.  Check back often as new styles are added as they become available.
