Harper's Bazaar heads to Miami to unveil top jewelry trends

With the new year already in full swing, I've been pretty excited to preview trends coming in for spring. And while the snow has barely melted in many parts of the world, over here in Miami we experienced a different sort of ice at David Yurman's Bal Harbour Boutique this evening.

At an event hosted by Harper's BAZAAR Executive Fashion & Beauty Editor Avril Graham, we had the opportunity to check out top jewelry and timepieces trends hand-selected by one of the most influential voices in the industry. Avril set up varied displays featuring her picks from The Trend Report and they include Azure Blue, Blush, Monochromatic, Warm Gold, and Emerald Green. 

The exquisite jewels available for purchase were so spectacular that simply by slipping on their Cable Wrap Ring (photo left), I was instantly transported to a fabulous red carpet! There I was, walking past Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, George Clooney and [insert name of latest arm candy], waving at photographers and the fans who camped out all day to see me!! Ok, so all of this was going on in my head but I was pretty surprised at how easy it was for a piece of jewelry to transport me and make me glam.

Avril hand-picked a winning mix of accessories including earrings, rings, watches, necklaces and even sunglasses that will reinvent any ensemble. When I tried on their Rose Quartz Pebble ring, Avril suggested such a breathtaking piece could even work on a basic look like t-shirt and jeans or even with a pair of sweatpants!
