Lupita Nyong'o Lands 'Star Wars' Gig

I had zero doubt that J.J. Abrams would bring on some stellar stars to the new "Star Wars" film and with the latest casting news, he has proven me right! Lancome's own Lupita Nyong'o has joined the legendary cast of "Star Wars: Episode VII" that already includes the likes of Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Andy Serkis, Adam Driver, and Mark Hamill. It was also announced that "Game of Thrones" star Gwendoline Christie, who played Brienne of Tarth, will also be joining the cast.

Gwendoline was one of my favorite stars on GoT and I can't wait to see a lot more of her. How stupid was it of Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) to diss her for his sister? They would have made an amazing couple! Oh who am I kidding? She just would've ended up dead sooner rather than later thanks to Queen Cersei (Lena Headey).

It is yet unknown what role Lupita or Gwendoline will play, but with J.J. at the helm of this project, you can bet it's going to be amazing! Lest we forget that the "Star Trek" director loves to re-hire many of his favorite former stars in future projects.
