Nurse Jackie Set to Scrub Floors in Final Season

No matter how much she's tried to beat her demons, it seems like Nurse Jackie (Edie Falco) has finally hit rock bottom. Showtime just released a new teaser trailer that shows the former nurse, taking on her new job at All Saints Hospital cleaning floors.

As season seven is set to wrap-up the series starting on April 12th at 9pm, what will happen to the nurse we can't seem to hate no matter what she does? From the preview below, we know that Jackie loses her nursing license and will be doing manual labor around the hospital. We also know that she hires an attorney, played by "Royal Pains" star Mark Feuerstein, to file a wrongful termination lawsuit.

If there's one thing Jackie isn't, is a quitter.

Earlier this year, "Nurse Jackie" showrunner Clyde Phillips told media during TCA that he and the writers have an "authentic" ending planned. What could the future mean for Jackie Peyton? My guess would be death by overdose. As much I love happy endings, I do not believe that this character will get one.

Even though she's been forced to rehabilitate from the drugs she is addicted to, she has proven that she will go back to them time and time again. No matter the consequence to herself or her loved ones who have supported her throughout the years.

What do you think would be an appropriate ending? Check out the new teaser trailer below and decide:
