Eli Roth Ready To Haunt Your Dreams Again with The Green Inferno

Eli Roth makes his directorial return with, "The Green Inferno," in theaters September 25th. This film promises to take you into the dark and primitive customs of the amazon jungle where you'll see cannibalism and unspeakable acts of violence. FUN!

The "Hostel" series, solidified Eli Roth as a scary genius worthy of many nights suffering from nightmares. What? Am I alone? Did his films not make you terrified? This fall, he's ready to test your limits again with his latest project, "The Green Inferno."

Let me preface this story by saying I've been to the amazon. As beautiful as it is, you can tell it has some pretty haunting secrets and creatures that come out at night. I slept that whole week with my ears covered with my pillows!

According to the official description, the film follows a group of college students who take their humanitarian protest from New York to the Amazon jungle only to be taken prisoner by the indigenous tribe they came to save. Roth tells the story of what happens when “slacktavism,” the well-meaning social media response to global catastrophes, turns into terror in the depths of the Amazon rainforest.

You will notice that some of the actors in the film, have worked with Roth in the past. Including his new wife Lorenza Izzo and one of my favorites, Ariel Levy.
