First Look: Fuller House

If you missed "Full House" as much as I have, you'll be happy to know that "Fuller House" will give us an update on most of your favorite characters. Here are the first images of the show released by Netflix.

Is today #throwbackthursday ? First I shared a post this morning showing Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell and Claudia Schiffer for Balmain and now the cast of "Full House" is back? Yes, and it's a glorious day! I am a child of the 80's and 90's and all this nostalgia has me feeling like teenage me is giving future me a big hug.

Before these photos, all we had was that vague trailer promoting the upcoming release of the show on NETFLIX. So these images have helped to make me even more excited for the upcoming February 26th release.

No, Michelle Tanner (Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen) will not be making an appearance, but that's ok. We have D.J. (Candace Cameron-Bure), Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin), Kimmy Gibbler (Andrea Barber), Uncle Jessie (John Stamos), Uncle Joey (Dave Coulier), Danny (Bob Saget), and Aunt Becky (Lori Loughlin) who are all back! Have Mercy...

The story follows D.J., who has recently been widowed with three kids and her bestie Kimmy who is divorced and has one daughter. I'm excited to see Scott Weinger come back as Steve and maybe rekindle something with D.J. who is now a veterinarian.

One of my favorite newcomers to the show is Juan Pablo di Pace who will play Kimmy's ex-husband. When I interviewed him last year he mentioned how much fun they had shooting on-set with their on-screen daughter played by Soni Nicole Bringas. Who would have thought Kimmy would bag herself a hottie in the future?!

If you're worried that now that everyone is a bit older that the show will be too serious, this last image assures us that Kimmy Gibbler is up to her old tricks. I guess no matter how old we get, there is always that young kid inside us dying to come out and be silly.

Let's meet back here after binging the series at the end of February to discuss all that went down while sipping some wine. See, there are some benefits to being a grownup!

  1. I'm excited but I'm a bit bothered that Michelle Tanner won't be back. I get that they are chain smoking hipsters that look older than Aunt Becky but at least they could FaceTime in for one episode.
