Happy Hour with Sutter Homes (Photo: Rosy Cordero)
Happy Hour is the time when my girlfriends and I plan most of our fun adventures. So it was only appropriate that we planned our trip to Spain over a few bottles of Sutter Home wine and a charcuterie board full of goodies. It was a hot afternoon in Agoura Hills and we had nothing but time to discuss our upcoming excursion.

Sutter Home is our go-to wine for summer no matter if we're soaking up the sun outdoors, enjoying a happy hour or having a girls night in.For this get-together, we went with some sweet options including a Pink Moscato, White Zinfandel, and a fruity Gewurztraminer. I also grabbed one of my favorites, Chardonnay. But you can do this with red wine or a mix of red and white. Sutter Home really has an awesome selection of wines at great prices for every occasion.

After choosing the wine, we paired a variety of cheeses including Goat Cheese, Gouda, Mozzarella, Iberico, Manchego, and Feta. Other great items that worked awesome with the wine include Italian Salami, Iberico Ham, grapes, pears, figs, and dried cranberries. Oh and don't forget the nuts! We used almonds and walnuts but you can use a mixture of your favorites.

We were meant to review our travel books over the bottles but we ended up really enjoying the various flavors of the wine and how they paired so nicely with the different food options we selected. Now we have an excuse to plan for another happy hour!

Even though we will be drinking a lot of wine while we are traveling throughout the motherland, we will be instantly taken back to this moment--- the delicious flavors and the fun times--- no matter where we are. Can we get Sutter Home wine in Spain?

Cheers to More Adventures with Wine and Good Friends
